The industry-academia collaboration, an initiative by Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) as part of the industry interaction, signed a pact in the presence of the representatives from MSMEs, CICU and GiZ, a Germany-based organisation.The pact, signed in association with Apex Cluster Development Service, shall provide students of mechanical and production engineering a golden platform.
Dr.Sehijpal Singh, principal, GNDEC, said connecting academia with industry was of dual benefit since it not only lead to exposing industry to students but also provided them hands-on practical aspects to boost the industry.
