Harshveer Singh Sekhon, a student of final year, CSE branch, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, bagged second position in the senior 4 km team pursuit track cycling in Asia Cup 2019

In yet another achievement, Harshveer Singh Sekhon, a student of final year, CSE branch, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC), Ludhiana, bagged second position in the senior 4 km team pursuit track cycling in Asia Cup 2019, held in New Delhi from September 9 to 11.

Targeting the Asian Games 2022 and Commonwealth Games 2022, Harshveer thanked the college authorities who supported him full throttle to come up to this level. He has also been selected for Asian Track Cycling to be held in South Korea.

Carrying a financial support of about Rs 6 lakh, Harshveer owes credit of his success to thorough training regime.

After recognising his earlier competencies like an Asian Champion in skating in China (2014 & 2018) and an Indian Skating representative in Asian Games in 2018; Dr Sehijpal Singh, Principal, recommended him for financial support.
