GNDEC School of Architecture, Ludhiana collaborated with Department of Architecture & HB Planning, IIT-Roorkee and Department of Architecture, Planning and Design, IIT-BHU to organize an online program for students on ‘Sustainability in Architecture’. Apart from the host institutes, students from more than 50 colleges registered for the event. Ar.Nilanjan Bhowal, Founder and Principal Architect, Design Consortium, New Delhi was the resource person. Ar.Bhowal is one of the best Architects when it comes to Sustainability in Architecture. He showcased his projects to mesmerize all the audience. He said all projects are unique and to be designed taking care about the site context. He also explained how his experiences with nature as a school going young boy helped him demonstrate and incorporate nature well into his projects. Session was graced by the presence of Prof.Vivek Sehgal-Head, GNDEC School of Architecture, Prof.P.S. Chani-Head, Department of Architecture And Planning, IIT-Roorkee and Prof.Pathak-Head, Department of Architecture, Planning and Design, IIT-BHU. The program was conducted on indigenous teleconferencing platform developed by GNDEC IT department. Dr.Sehijpal Singh-Principal GNDEC, Ludhiana welcomed the collaboration between institutes and motivated all students to practice sustatinabilty in life.
