Two-week Faculty Development Programme on “innovative pedagogical methodologies and tools for effective learning in Engineering education”, Sponsored by AICTE, New Delhi under (AQIS), Organised by department of business administration, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana was concluded.
On the inaugural ceremony, Sehijpal Singh, principal of the college welcomed the chief guest Prof. K. Srinivas Head ICT & Project Management Unit National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA) (Deemed to be University) (Ministry of Education, Govt. of India). The chief guest emphasized on research-based strategies to improve teaching and learning and initiate discussions about instructional approaches both in teams and with individual teachers. He stated that teaching is a sacred profession by which teachers transform power in terms of knowledge in to their students.
