(QIP) Short-term course on ‘Decision Making Strategies in Industrial Environment’ was organised in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College

A five-day Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) short-term course on ‘Decision Making Strategies in Industrial Environment’ was inaugurated today in the Mechanical Engineering Department of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. Dr GS Dangayach, professor MNIT, Jaipur, was the chief guest for the same.

The five-day short-term course will be beneficial to faculty members of various engineering colleges, research scholars and persons from R&D and industrial organisations.

The course will create awareness among participants regarding different decision-making strategies and also help them to apply decision-making strategies in their real-life scenario.

The principal-cum-chief-patron of the college, Dr Sehijpal Singh, appreciated the department for organising such courses for the benefit of the participants. Faculty coordinator, Dr Paramjit Singh Bilga and course coordinator, Dr Harwinder Singh, said experts from various IITs, IIMs and NITs would be coming in the following days to present their valuable talks.
