GNDEC school of architecture, ludhiana conducted an excursion for 1st year students of architecture along with professors to Anandpur sahib and Chandigarh. The trip was primarily organised to introduce students to the professional practice of visual arts , its trend now , followed by an understanding of its cohesive integration with architecture. The virasat – e- Khalsa museum covers exhibition galleries and many more exciting feature with the use of local materials and craftsmenship.
The second day of tour was fun filled with grand inauguration of INT-EXT EXPO at parade ground sector 17,Chandigarh in the presence of governor of Punjab and administrator Chandigarh-Sh V.P. Singh Badnore .
Students got the chance to interact with many architects and company’s representative during this exhibition hosted by the informative seminars . During another day students got to interact to Ar. Sangeet Sharma to Le-corvuson sector-19 Chandigarh, well known for his sustainable projects. He presented his book to prof. Vivek Sehgal Of GNDEC as a signature of goodwill.
Students also got chance to interact with Ar. Renu Khanna, Panchkula, where she enlightened students about the design concept of war memorial – Chapad chidi designed by her . The overall visit engulfed the essence of holytown of Anandpur Sahib .
Dr.Sehijpal Singh, Principal-GNDEC, Ludhiana expressed his views on this educational voyage stating that such events not only render student’s preparation for future prospects but also craft confidence in them.GNDEC School of Architecture, Ludhiana was established in 2019 with full fervour.
