In what may be called yet another achievement, students of the hockey team of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, (GNDEC) Ludhiana, bagged a gold medal yet again in the inter-college hockey tournament held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Technical College.
This being the fifth successive victory in a row, the hockey team bought laurels to the college again. After the team played and won a series of two matches, it was a clean chit for them by a magnificent win of 2-0 against SVIET team.
The GNDEC hockey team seemed joyful after the victory and thanked the authorities especially principal, Dr Sehijpal Singh for the tremendous amount of support and provision of all the facilities including a specialist coach for training the students. Dr Sehijpal Singh mentioned that he had complete trust in his college hockey team and was glad to welcome them back after the glorious victory.
